Dee Sokolosky
Chairman

Dominic (Dee) Sokolosky has served on First Bank of Owasso’s Board of Directors since 1988 and currently serves as Chairman. He served as CEO from 1998 - 2024. He holds a Business Administration degree, with minors in Economics and Finance from Oklahoma State University. He was the outstanding graduate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Dee has served as a church elder, trustee, treasurer, and Sunday School teacher. He enjoys traveling with his wife and family, and watching OSU sports.

Dennis Phillips
President & CEO

Dennis has been with First Bank of Owasso for over 30 years, beginning his tenure upon graduation from Oklahoma State University in 1994. He served as a consumer loan officer, branch manager, and eventually commercial lender before being named FBO’s Chief Lending Officer in 2002. He earned his MBA from OSU in 2000, completed the Graduate School of Banking at LSU in 2003, and he maintains continuing training and education, all of which help him serve clients both in ministry and in small business with expertise and innovation. Dennis has served on the bank’s Board of Directors since 2003. He was named FBO President in 2024 and CEO in 2025. 

During Dennis’ tenure as Chief Lending Officer, First Bank of Owasso grew from $80 million in loans to over $440 million today, without acquisition. During that time, the bank has been consistently ranked among the safest and best-performing community banks both in Oklahoma and nationally.

His greatest joys in life are his wife Liz and their three sons. Dennis and Liz are active in their church, and when not cheering on their sons' youth sports and school activities, they enjoy the outdoors, golf, travel, working in the yard, and of course, OSU sports.

Nick Sokolosky
Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer

Nick joined the bank in 2013, serves on the bank's Board of Directors, and is Chief Lending Officer. He enjoys working with business owners and churches. He graduated from Oklahoma State University, holds a Masters in Business Administration and attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Born and raised in Owasso, Nick continues to live here with his wife and three children. He enjoys golfing and watching OSU sports.

Brant Snap
Sr. Vice President

Brant joined First Bank of Owasso in 1995 after graduating from Oklahoma State University. He started as a lending officer and currently serves as a Senior Vice President, specializing in commercial lending, with a focus in construction and real estate. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Rogers County RWD #3, and was recently certified as a Master Cattleman. He stays busy with his local real-estate investments as well as working at his ranch. He and his wife Heather have been married for 25 years and have three children. They enjoy OSU sports, Houston Astros baseball, and attending concerts together. 

Matt Sidwell
Sr. Vice President

Matt joined First Bank of Owasso in 2001, and his primary lending responsibilities are in commercial lending, including financing under the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) programs.  These SBA programs include the 7(a), 504, Express, and Veterans Advantage, and includes all phases of the process from packaging and submission of the SBA application to the closing of the loan. Matt and his wife Laurie enjoy traveling, gardening, spending time outdoors, and watching OSU sports.

Scott Anderson
Sr. Vice President

Scott joined First Bank of Owasso in 2003 after earning a degree in Finance from Northeastern State University. He worked as a teller and new accounts representative before coming to the loan department. He currently is a commercial loan officer specializing in church lending and real estate lending. Scott and his wife are actively involved in their church. He enjoys hunting and fishing.

Mary Evans
Sr. Vice President

Mary has 20 years of Mortgage Lending experience with more than 30 years in banking. Mary brings the kind of knowledge and experience clients are looking for when they are considering the purchase or refinance of a home. Mary enjoys photography, gardening, boating and spending time with her family.

Ralph Cunningham
Sr. Vice President

Ralph has over 35 years of experience in the banking industry and serves as a commercial loan officer specializing in church lending, real estate loans, and SBA loans. He earned a degree in Business Administration (Finance) and a Masters in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. Ralph lives in Owasso and is active in the community. He serves as a deacon and Sunday school teacher at his church. He serves as President of the Owasso Historical Society, is a board member at the Hucherson Family YMCA, a member of the Hospitality House of Tulsa fundraising committee, and a member of the Public Relations team at the Baptist Village of Owasso.

David King
Sr. Vice President

David has worked in Tulsa area banking since 1989 including a previous stint at First Bank of Owasso. His return to FBO was largely driven by the bank’s culture and its desire to have a positive impact on our global culture. David has extensive knowledge of credit underwriting and analysis, portfolio management, and executive bank management. He presently focuses his industry expertise on commercial real estate, churches/faith-based organizations, commercial and industrial, and deposit/treasury management generation. David graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Management, and he also earned an MBA from OU (Finance concentration). He has completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and the ABA’s National Commercial Lending School. David has served on the Finance Committee at First Church-Owasso, the Owasso Education Foundation, and various other nonprofit organizations over many years. He enjoys studying history and staying informed of current events/issues via reading and podcasts along with following OU Sooners sports.

Kyle Gift
Vice President

Kyle joined FBO in 2020 as a Commercial Lender. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive knowledge in real estate, small business, and lending. Kyle is an Owasso native and earned his degree in Marketing from Northeastern State University. Kyle and his wife, Anne, have four kids and are active members at Destiny Life Church in Owasso, where Kyle plays the drums in the praise band. He enjoys playing basketball and golf and is a huge Kansas Jayhawks fan.

Octavian Msongamwanja
Loan Officer

Octavian joined First Bank of Owasso in 2022 as a Transaction Processor. He has worked in banking over four years and has 15 years of experience working with international non-profits. Octavian grew up in Tanzania, East Africa. He graduated with an MBA from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Daystar University in Kenya. Octavian and his wife, Hallie, have one son and are active in their church (Anthem Church - Broken Arrow), where Octavian leads and organizes the greetings team. Octavian enjoys connecting with people and outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, and gardening.
